Iron Telluride (FeTe)

    FeTe is a iron based vdW layered superconductor. Iron Telluride (FeTe) is a member of layered materials. FeTe is considered as the parent material of the simplest family of iron-based superconductors. The crystal structure of iron telluride consists of a continuous stacking of FeTe layers, where a square-lattice layer of iron atoms is sandwiched between two twice-sparser layers of bonding chalcogen atoms. Crystals are grown using flux zone method which is known to produce well crystallized and defect free vdW superconductors.
