CdAs2 crystal belongs to a larger family of transition metal dipnictides MPn2 (M = V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, and W, Pn = P, As and Sb). It crystallizes in OsGe2 type structure. The quantum properties of CdAs2 is still largely unknown in the field and waiting to be discovered. Our CdAs2 crystals has been synthesized through self-transport technique using CdAs2 poly-crystalline substance as the precursor.
